Clayton's journey into the world of entrepreneurship began in high school, helping his father assemble desks at his startup late into the night. This early, hands-on experience sparked a lifelong passion for innovation and startups. As Maveron's Director of Finance, Clayton channels that passion into supporting the Maveron team as they help visionary founders bring their ideas to life.

Clayton previously led finance teams at Dolby Family Ventures and Standish Management. Clayton started his career overseas in the US Air Force, working as an aide to a general officer.

When Clayton's not spending time in spreadsheets, you'll find him picking his banjo on stage, fiddling with pulling the perfect espresso shot, or hiking and skiing in the Pacific Northwest.
